Marvel Avengers fans rejoice! A 5-coin set commemorating The Avengers was released earlier this year by the Island of Niue. Made from precious .999 fine silver, the coins weigh 31.39 grams and measure 40.7 mm in diameter each. Depicted on the coins are the Avengers – Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, and The Hulk – and Ultron. The coins have a face value of $2 with ‘2015’ as the year of issue and come with custom packaging. The series commemorates the Marvel Avengers movie released in May 2015.

The coins are graded PF69 by the NGC. The obverse bears the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the inscription ‘Elizabeth II’, ‘Niue’, Two Dollars’, and ‘2015’ along with the artist’s initials, ‘IBR’. The reverse depicts a colour portrait of a Marvel Avengers character in a fighting stance along with the character’s name, ‘2015’, ‘1 Ounce .999 Fine Silver’, and ‘© Marvel' inscribed on it.
